So proud

The boys last day of school was last week, and with the end of the year comes award ceremony's. Both the boys received every award they could get! I'm so proud of all their hard work this school year.

Austin received faithful attendance, because he missed one day of school; citizenship, because he maintained a 90 or above average in behavior all year; and honor roll, because he had all A's and B's on his report card all year. He finished the year out with all A's for his yearly average, he did unfortunately receive 3 B's all of which were 89's, which in my book is still AWESOME!! He also read the 360 minutes and received a ticket to six flags. I'm so proud of all the hard work he put into learning this year. He's ready for 3rd grade!

Justin received PERFECT attendance, he didn't miss one day of school! He was the only one in his class to get perfect attendance. Justin also received citizenship, for keeping a 90 or above average in conduct; he received honor roll for making all A's and B's on his report cards all year. He finished the year out with all A's on his yearly average, he did get two B's this year but brought each B back up to an A the next 6 weeks. Justin was also commended on his math and writing TAKS tests, and he missed just 1 too many to get commended on his reading, which is still a GREAT job! Justin is such a smart boy and loves school. I'm proud of his hard work all year. He has officially graduated from elementary school and will be moving on up to intermediate school next year.

These were the boys end of the year gifts to their teachers. We missed out at teacher appreciation week, so we waited till school got out to give them their gifts to show our appreciation for all of their hard work and time they put into helping the boys learn and grow and prepare for their next year of school. I'm so thankful for great teachers and for their patience with my boys. It makes a world of a difference when you have such great teachers that are truly dedicated to their students.

Next year I'll have all 3 of my children in school, such a crazy thought for now. I've had children at home with me for 11 years by the time the new school year starts. The first 5 years seemed to creep by so slowly, but the last 6 years have just flown by. Just a blink and Justin will be graduating school!

Great pics! Your kids are so adorable. Are we really old enough that you've had kids at home with you for eleven years!?! Crazy! Enjoy your summer before all 3 are in school!
