A Texas Winter Wonderland

The weather man predicted snow when we went to bed. We woke up the next morning to snow outside of our windows!

And we woke up to a sick boy.

School wasn't canceled so we bundled up and off to school we went in snow, in Texas!
It snowed some more.
And snowed some more!
It was still snowing when we got home from school!
We had snowball fights.
We made snow angels.
And built a snowman.
We went to bed that night hoping school would get canceled the next day. When we woke up the next morning it had snowed even more! Weather reports, reported between 10 to 12 inches of snow, in Texas! School was canceled!!!
Everything was covered with more snow than we had ever seen before in Texas!
Our home covered in snow the second day.
The sick boy was now well enough to go out and play in the snow!
Big brother and little sister ready to play in the snow.
Ashlyn tried to build her own snowman.
Austin learned and built his first snowman. Unfortunately, we didn't come prepared to dress our snowmen.
Big brother helping his little sis out with her snowman.... makes my heart melt to see him taking care of her. She loves him so much!
Justin couldn't be pulled away from having snowball fights all day with his friends, so no cute snow pics of him this day. Austin finished the day off with two more snowmen in our front yard. He definitely made up for no snow play the day before.

We ended the day by our nice warm fire that Jeremy made before he left for work. What a wonderful, beautiful gift, God gave us. It was so much fun playing in the snow all day with our family and friends. I wish it would snow like this at least once every year. Until next time we will cherish the memories we made from our winter wonderland, in Texas!
